In His Keeping

Isn’t it amazing that with billions of people on the earth, a single, heart-felt prayer can be listened to and aswered one-on-one. Sometimes I feel very insignificant, but I am confidant that the Good Shepherd hears all his sheep, and cares for each one of us.

Hi…love your songs. I love to sit and improvise and have ability to record on my digital piano, so I can retrieve anything that I like. This particular song, “In His Keeping” is very nice. Just a music theory comment: it’s actually in the key of Bb but you’ve used key of F key signature, so the E’s have to be flatted whenever they occur. Do you use a midi program to play your songs into a computer program? I use Scorewriter. I’ve joined on your website…I’m glad I found you.

Floyd, thank you for noticing that! I can’t believe it’s taken 4 years for someone to tell me, but you are definitely correct, it should be written in the key of Bb. I’ll see if I can’t get that fixed…

Hi Lindy, I just want to thank you for sharing your talents with us. I have been playing your piano arrangements for years. I have every single one printed off and use them often… for prelude music, for sacrament special music, for primary, R.S….for fun. I sang “If I’d Been There” for sacrament meeting once and everyone wanted to know where to find the music. So again, thank you. Betsy

I just changed the key for this song. In addition to the key change, you also get the copy right from my “Little Miracles” book with all the added dynamic changes. Thanks Floyd for the comment!

I love this song and it is the first song that I have learned to play from all of your songs. It is beautiful and reminds me of my savior and the fact that one day I will see him again. Thank you

This song is beautiful! I have used it many times for weddings. For me it is my hope and prayer for the couple — that God will keep them “in His keeping” as they move through years together! I shared with the pianist for my daughter’s wedding – she used it and has used in weddings since. Thank you for your beautiful music and sharing it with us!

hy Lindy! I just absolutely LOVE your songs, and compositions, not only do they have such a powerful and loving message portrayed in each one, but your testimony is so strong, you are a great influence on myself, and have inspired me and also others to compose songs from the heart and about the love our father in heaven has for each and everyone of us. Thankyou so much
