On This Father’s Day
I wrote this song last year for Father’s Day. This year, we will be singing it with our choir. It is my simple offering for not only my dad, but for all the wonderful men, father’s, bishops, and good men out there. Most of all, it’s for my Father in Heaven whom I love with all my heart. We Believe
“We Believe” is a song that I wrote to go with the 2011 Mutual Theme. It’s based on the 13th article of faith. Our young women’s president told me that she wanted something about being anxiously engaged in a good cause. As I was working on this song, the words, “May my life reflect my mission” come to me. It is how I want to live my life. I hope that everything I do will reflect what I believe and what I feel I’m supposed to do.
The sheet music, accompaniment track, and demo as well as a .pdf for vocal parts-only, are available to download for free through the “Download Links” on the sidebar. There are also 2 MP3′s available through itunes (.99) in the event that you can help me to support the site. Both are available for your convenience, and so that you can perform this song with your young women. Since I have not yet had an opportunity to hear this song performed by a young women’s choir, please do share your experiences. Enjoy! Continue reading
Story of Faith
This song I wrote to go with our Relief Society lesson. The inspired topic was Jeffery R. Holland’s talk, As Doves to our Windows. The talk includes more about these two specific pioneer stories, and the sacrifices that were made in building the temple. I am so blessed to live near two temples! This song helps me to remember the sacrifices that the early saints made to have a temple. I know that I should never take this blessing for granted and to go often. I often think about what my Heavenly Father would want me to sacrifice for the kingdom. Continue reading
My Baptism Day
I was asked to sing for a baptism in my ward. This was the song that resulted. I think it is a pretty, thoughtful song that could be sung with any lesson about baptism, repentance or the sacrament. Emphasizing the importance of reflecting every day on the convenants we’ve made, and if we are living them. Continue reading
O Little Town of Bethlehem
I was asked to sing this song for our Ward Christmas program. As I’ve sung through this song and focused more on the meaning of the words, this song has taken on a much deeper meaning. It has become one of my favorites! Continue reading

Lay Hold Upon All Good Things
This song is only in this section, because it is one of my very first vocal songs that I ever composed. It isn’t the strongest song (musically or lyrically), but this song means a lot to me, and it was a neat experience for me to write a song and sing it for the woman of my church. Continue reading
Rest in Me
A song of peace, rest, prayer, and of our savior. This song says so much about the thoughts of my heart. I am so grateful for my Savior who continues to lead and guide me daily. Continue reading
