I Will Praise Thee

When ten lepers were cleansed
only one returned
to thank the Lord for giving him
the blessings they had yearned.
"Where are the nine," the savior asked,
"Were there not ten?"
He told them to be grateful
thankful to the end

I will praise Thee with a song
Filled with gratitude to Thee.
For Thy love and constant care,
Always with me, Always there.
Let my heart show of my praise
Serving Thee in all my days
All I have I give to Thee
Loving Father, I thank Thee.

Each time I acknowledge
what Thou hast done
My gratitude increases towards everyone
I want to serve my neighbors and family
And share the gospel message,
so others may believe

I will praise Thee with my voice
In my heart, I've made the choice
All I am, I give to Thee,
Loving Father, I thank Thee

About the Song:
I can't call it "chance" when I find myself asked to give a talk on the same topic that I was asked to give ten years ago. The topic is Gratitude and "Things I am thankful for". I decided to pull out the same song that we sang those many years ago, and perform it once again. I've updated the music a bit, but not as much as I expected. These simple words still mean the same thing to me. I have come to be so grateful for everything I have.

Truly I have found that being thankful is the key to my being happy. I feel so blessed. Focusing on what we are most grateful for blesses our lives and everyone around us.

I have also added a music video you are welcome to share this Thanksgiving season!
